Internet of Things (IoT) project, which has allowed our client to measure temperature and environmental pollution in real time using Google Cloud Platform services. It consists of an ambient temperature sensor connected to a microcontroller, allowing data to be sent to the Google cloud through its Wi-Fi connection. The application obtains the data from the cloud and displays it through a dashboard with real-time and historical measurements.
Ideal scenario
Our client wanted to be able to integrate the information captured by a temperature sensor through a microcontroller and send it to the Google cloud for analysis and decision making.

Action
The IoT temperature sensor was connected to our customer's wireless network and was sending data to an IoT Edge device running the GCP IoT Core service. The IoT Core service enabled device management and real-time data collection. Additionally, we use Cloud Pub/Sub to send sensor data to Cloud Dataflow, a real-time data processing service.
